NESPRESSO | HAVAS
Description du projet
CONTEXT
Zurich is filled with public art. The city currently counts a total of 1300 art pieces, among which “The Father of the S-Bahn” or the so-called “Sprayer of Zurich” at
the main station. Nearby on Bahnhofstrasse, Zurich’s most frequented street, people can admire another iconic building, famous for its stained-glass facade,
where the new Nespresso Boutique is opening.
CHALLENGE
Knowing the iconic style and history of the Brannhof building, Nespresso couldn’t put its Boutique in the hands of any decorating project – especially with a
massive concrete column standing in the middle of it.
EXECUTION
It came as obvious: we wanted the column to reflect the history of the building’s stained glass. To do so, we collaborated with
the artist who captures that style so well: Dominik Rüegg, aka DRÜ-EGG. He seized the chance to celebrate Zurich’s art heritage by reinterpreting a map of the
city and created Zurich's 1301st piece of art, that every resident can now enjoy.
